<![CDATA[<p>Cloud storage disaster</p>n<!–more–>n<h2><img src="https://4346996.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net/hubfs/4346996/christa-dodoo-MldQeWmF2_g-unsplash.jpg" alt="Cloud Storage Disasters" width="835" loading="lazy" style="width: 835px;"></h2>n<p><span>Another cloud storage disaster</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>This time a registered society.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>They’ve been operational for over 20 years and started with local storage, then “upgraded” to cloud storage.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>They can’t find half the information they need on a daily basis.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>They’re struggling to find a single, critical document to support a very expensive and risky legal battle.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>Incorrect information has been filed to the Incorporated Societies Registry.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>There’s no version control.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>Information has leaked and got into the wrong hands.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>The list goes on.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>We see this all the time. Regardless of how disciplined you are with folder based storage, it always ends up looking like a teenagers closet.</span><br><span>&nbsp;</span><br><span>There’s no control. It’s basically an outdated filing cabinet with a 1000 keys out there somewhere.
